The design of the Maison Hanoi mask try to be simple and elegant. Different level of protection can be achieved through the insertion as a middle layer of available filters. For this version the mask is provided with a layer of nanosilver coated fabric. The upper design of the mask is an ode to Vietnamese culture and craft. Here inspired by the lacquer technique with eggshell the pattern give a mor contemporary interpretation of this craft. The fabric comes also from the millenia long tradition of silk weaving in Vietnam. The use of protection mask is widespread in Vietnam. In this version it becomes not only a protection measure but an icon of Vietnamese art and craft. Mixing contemporary needs with tradition and craft this object can represent what is Vietnam Today.
